About the San Rafael Volunteer Program
Who we are
The Volunteer Program is a program within the Sustainability division of the City of San Rafael’s office of the City Manager.
What we do
We coordinate volunteer positions in city government departments and for special projects. We connect community members looking to volunteer their time for pleasure, a school project, or to complete their community service.
We coordinate volunteer participation in:
- Cleanup and beautification projects
- Direct service to City departments
- Special events
We welcome ideas for projects in public areas near where you live or work. Let us help you or your organization get involved in a volunteer project!
What we don't do
The San Rafael Volunteer Program is not the main volunteer resource for non-profits in Marin.
