The ongoing Albert Park Fence Replacement Project, located at the baseball field along Andersen Drive, focuses on enhancing existing fencing along the ADA ramp. Approximately 80 feet of 16-feet high fencing is being installed as part of the upgrade. While construction began last week on Monday, April 8, the project is slated for completion by the end of this week. Initial tasks included the removal of existing fencing and the drilling of post holes by the contractor. Subsequently, on Tuesday, April 16, fence posts were positioned in the prepared holes, with concrete poured under the supervision of a geotechnical engineering firm inspector. The inspector conducted essential tests, including a concrete slump test and the sampling of the concrete mix for compression testing. Upon completion of the tests, the geotechnical engineering firm will furnish a detailed report to the City. The accompanying images depict the contractor’s progress on April 16.
