Marin Sanitary Refuse Rates

On Monday, December 19 at 7 p.m., the City Council will consider a rate adjustment proposal for Marin Sanitary Service to continue to provide refuse, recycling and organic materials hauling and processing for customers in San Rafael in 2017. The proposed rate adjustment would increase rates by 5.71% over 2016 levels for all rate payers. … Continued

Andersen Drive at-grade-crossing

To prepare for SMART’s planned rail service to Larkspur, San Rafael identified and studied six possibilities to accommodate a rail crossing at Andersen Drive; ultimately finding a modified at-grade crossing to be the most appropriate design. At Monday’s meeting, the City Council will consider plans for a new at-grade rail crossing at Andersen Drive.

Public Safety Facilities Update

Financial Update

City Staffing

At Monday’s meeting, the City Council will consider a few items pertaining to City staffing; including the reallocation of a handful of positions and an update to the Temporary, Seasonal, Retiree, and Fixed-Term Employees Salary Schedule, primarily to reflect scheduled minimum wage increases.

20th Anniversary of the City’s Volunteer Program
