The Parks Department recently contracted with Gardener’s Guild to constructhe mulching of the medians along Bellam Blvd between Kerner Blvd and Windward Way. This has long been on the wish list for local residents to help cut back on herbicide use in the area. The mulch will help cut back on weed growth while keeping the roots of the plants from drying out. The feedback has been positive about the improvements to the neighborhood.
