Call for Amendments

As part of the General Plan Update, the City of San Rafael may consider changes to its Land Use Map.  Property owners interested in pursuing Map amendments may submit applications from now through June 30, 2019.  An application form and list of supplemental questions have been created and may be downloaded from the project website here.  Amendment requests will be evaluated based on factors such as compatibility with adjacent uses, the level of community support, the consistency of the proposal with General Plan policies and principles, and potential impacts on the environment and community services.  General Plan Amendment requests may be “batched” for consideration during the alternatives phase of the General Plan, and the General Plan EIR.  For more information, contact Barry Miller at barry.miller@cityofsanrafael.org
