Caltrans Issues Noise Advisory for 101 NB Central San Rafael Off-Ramp Bridge Replacement – 2/14

Posted on February 10, 2021

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) issues a Noise Advisory for 101 NB Central San Rafael Off-Ramp Bridge Replacement project starting on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 9PM. During this time, the construction team reach the first stage of the bridge transition process.

This will be a noisy operation carried out nightly as this is the safest time for the construction team to complete project work on such a heavily traveled thoroughfare. Local residents and businesses can expect the sights and sounds typically associated with large construction projects to greatly intensify as the construction team continues preparing for three 55-hour weekend closures (the first will take place in March) extending from the freeway off-ramp up to 2nd street, Exit 452 NB 101 in Central San Rafael.
