Last year as part of a larger effort to improve pedestrian safety, the City developed an evaluation and prioritization process to score and rank uncontrolled pedestrian crossings. DPW’s four man Sign and Paint Crew gave Second and Third Street intersections, from the Miracle Mile to Lincoln Ave., some fresh paint to brighten up the directional arrows and lane lines. Two streets down, 1067 to go!
