City Council Goals & Strategies – 2018

At their 7 p.m. meeting on Monday evening, the City Council will hear an informational report about the draft City Council Goals & Strategies for Fiscal Year 2018-19. This guiding document consists of a set of goals, strategies, and key implementation tasks for the upcoming fiscal year, and parallels the City budget. The goals are to: (A) create and preserve a healthy economy and neighborhoods; (B) serve and strengthen community and regional relationships; (C) prevent and respond to emergencies; (D) improve and preserve public assets; and (E) sustain organizational viability and exemplary service. Included in the document are key strategies and implementation tasks related to each of the five goals. This document will return to the City Council for final approval during the budget process in May and June.
