Design Guidelines and Area Plans
The city has adopted general Residential and Non Residential Design Guidelines to assist design professionals and homeowners in planning out projects. In addition to these guidelines, we also offer additional tools for people designing projects in areas that have more standards to meet based on either the overlay zoning district (Hillside, canalfront), the use (Promenade Plan, Station Plan) or the nature of the lot/structure (Historic Survey, Hillside, shoreline).
