The Streets Division has been keeping busy with road repairs and paint refreshing. A 75-foot section of roadway along the curb and gutter on Kerner Blvd had significant root damage from nearby trees that had been previously removed. In the photo you will see Streets Division paving crew members Kenny Gatlin, Arturo Tinoco, Jeremy Quintal and Matt Gaehwiler removing the damaged asphalt (which was about 10 inches thick) and put in additional base rock. They then proceeded to compact and repave this stretch of roadway. Additionally, here you see paint crew lead worker Tyler Nord refreshing the parking stall lines at the Terra Linda Community Center
