36th Annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration
San Rafael’s 36th Annual Dia de los Muertos, “Day of the Dead”, celebration will be held on Saturday, November 2 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Albert J. Boro Community Center (50 Canal Street, San Rafael). The community event kicks off at 3:00 pm with family art activities, music, face painting for children, authentic food for sale and altar viewing, followed at 6:00 pm by the annual walking procession through the Canal neighborhood and concluding with a celebration in the Albert J. Boro Community Center with live music, traditional food and cultural performances. Additional parking will be available at Bahia Vista Elementary School and free shuttle service from Marin Health and Wellness Campus (3240 Kerner Blvd).
