An Evening of Poetry with Jose Javier Zamora

Join us on Thursday, April 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pickleweed Library to celebrate the life and work of this young poet from the Canal neighborhood who has had great success with the release of his book, Unaccompanied. Jose Javier Zamora’s interest in poetry was sparked in his last year of school when poet Rebecca Foust visited his class. Rebecca, now the Marin County Poet Laureate, will MC this special literary event presenting Javier as he shares his poetry. Student poets from Bahia Vista elementary school will also read their own poetry. More event info
