Dia De Los Muertos
On Saturday, November 4 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Albert J. Boro Community Center, enjoy art workshops and learn about the Day of the Dead history, culture and traditional celebrations.
There will be face painting for children, the beautiful procession down Canal Street which includes, drumming and dancing of Aztec and Mayan civilizations, display of big skeletons or “calacas”, and people wearing traditional costumes, masks or face painting in honor of their loved ones.
There will also be cultural performances, traditional food for sale and altar viewing. MORE INFO
