City Hall and other offices will be closed to the public from December 23 to January 3, but appointments are available upon request. Public safety and emergency services remain available 24/7.

Join in cleaning up San Rafael for Earth Day!

Help remove trash and plastic pollution from San Rafael’s Bay shoreline, paths and on the water. Bring a refillable water bottle, hat and gloves.

Our sites include:

Mahon Path and Creek: Clean up the creek and path where river otters nest and birds enjoy the water. Meet on Lincoln Avenue just south of 2nd Street near the back side of Sprouts Market.

Shoreline Path and Park: Head east on Pelican Way, enter the parking lot to the right at the end of the street and continue east until you get to the end of the parking lot. All ages welcome.

Merrydale Road: Meet at Los Ranchitos Park on Sequoia off North San Pedro Road.

Pickleweed Park: Meet at the child care center at 40 Canal Street, adjacent to the Albert J Boro Community Center. (District 1 community conversation follows for residents and businesses in District 1)

101 Surf Sports: Free Kayak or SUP rental for anyone who will pick up trash while they paddle! In honor of Ann Bauer. 101 Surf Sports: 115 3rd Street. Please RSVP to 415-524-8492 or info@101surfsports.com. More info here.
