Latino Civic Leadership Pop-up
Join us! Latino Civic Leadership Initiative is hosting a Latino Civic Leadership Pop-up event where we will have board and commission representatives from San Rafael, Novato and the County of Marin available to answer any questions about their work and provide information about the application and interview process. Child care and snacks will be provided throughout the duration of the event.
The City of San Rafael, County of Marin, SR Board of Education, SR Chamber and other stakeholders have been working with San Rafael City Councilmember Kate Colin on an initiative to promote civic engagement within the Latino community and to create a pipeline for Latino leaders seeking roles on boards, commissions and elected positions in local government.
The Pop-up event will be held on Wednesday, January 17th, 5:00-8:00 pm at San Rafael Community Center (618 B Street, San Rafael). Feel free to drop by at any time, as this is a free-flowing event meant to accommodate busy schedules.
