On Wednesday, April 26 from 8 am to 5 pm, the San Rafael Fire Department is hosting a training exercise on Smith Ranch Road near Silveira Parkway. All roads will remain open.
This training exercise will prepare first responders to safely and effectively respond to incidents involving large numbers of injured victims. This will be a fairly large drill. We will be simulating a train accident with a bus. There will be a large number of fire apparatus in the area (probably 10-15 fire engines and a few helicopters).a bus.
