Construction is well underway at the two fire stations. Fire Station 54 is blossoming and taking shape! The elevator tower now has roofing and the fireman’s living quarters are framed out. Wall and roof panels are up, and windows are installed. Electrical and plumbing rough-in is showing great progress. This week, laborers were seen carrying drywall into the building, so it’s only a matter of time before insulation is installed, drywall is put in place, and more interior finishes can begin.

Amazing progress is showing at Fire Station 55. Wickman Development and Construction and their subcontractors have begun many of the interior finishes. New, metal doors are installed and painted; walls in the living quarters and apparatus bay are all primed and painted; and tiling has begun in the bathroom! Framing for built-in cabinets and furniture are also noticeable in the kitchen, living, and bedrooms.  Exterior finishes can be seen with new stucco and some asphalt work on the grounds
