Over the past few weeks Valentine Corp. has removed and replaced the concrete barrier on the east side of the Grand Ave vehicle bridge. The new pedestrian bridge arrived Friday morning (March 8th) in two pieces and is being stored inside of the Toyota Marin parking lot so that final assembly and installation of the new pedestrian bridge, which the contractor has tentatively planned for Friday, March 15th barring more weather delays. Once the bridge is placed, light poles will be installed on the bridge and the contractor will focus on constructing the sidewalk ramps leading up to the new bridge. We expect the bridge to be open by Memorial Day!
