The contractor has completed the majority of concrete work on the project with only minor sidewalk work remaining. Next steps on the project include asphalt work within the Toyota Marin parking lot, as well as, on the north side of the canal where the City purchased the former Marin Motors parcel. During the second week of June, the Contractor is planning to perform a full road closure of Grand Avenue in order to install a protective seal across the entire vehicle bridge deck. This work will not coincide with any roadway closures related to SMART work on Second or Third Streets. We anticipate that completion of this project will be done about the third week of June.
