City offices will be closed on November 27 and 28 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Emergency services are available 24/7. Upcoming community engagement session for the 350 Merrydale Interim Shelter Project on December 9 at Venetia Valley School from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

At the June 3, 2024 City Council Meeting, the Council approved the proclamation to name June 2024 as LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. View the proclamation here: June 2024: LGBTQIA+ Month Proclamation.

Before the City Council meeting, the Mayor, Councilmembers, staff, community partners, and community members attended a program honoring the LGTBQIA+ community and raising of the Progress Pride flag.
