At the Monday meeting, the City Council will consider setting the rate of a special tax on parcels in “The Strand” development in Loch Lomond. This tax supports the maintenance of infrastructure including streets, sidewalks, storm drains, landscaping, lighting, the playground, and more. Each year, an engineer’s study recommends an assessment to cover these costs. This year, the proposed tax is $759.61 per dwelling unit. Owners of below-market-rate units are exempt from the tax.
