On Monday, December 19 at 7 p.m., the City Council will consider a rate adjustment proposal for Marin Sanitary Service to continue to provide refuse, recycling and organic materials hauling and processing for customers in San Rafael in 2017. The proposed rate adjustment would increase rates by 5.71% over 2016 levels for all rate payers. These adjustments are based upon an independent third-party review of expenses and revenues.
