Mary worked for the San Rafael Police Department and Public Works Department for many years. Once she retired, she decided to contribute her time on a volunteer basis at the Concierge Desk at City Hall. She touched many people while with the City, and all remember her fondly. She had a graciousness about her and a way of making everyone feel important. She helped in a variety of clerical and organizational tasks and was the first person people met when they came to City Hall. Her great people skills made all visitors feel welcome, and she helped many figure out where to go for help when they needed it.
