Public Works’ Mission Ave. sidewalk Phase 1 project is now complete. The City worked with their contractor, Ghilotti Bros Inc. (GBI), to come up with a plan that would allow for the installation of the sidewalk while minimizing impacts to the trees because we understand their importance to the community and the environment. In just two weeks, GBI successfully installed over 4,000 square feet of new sidewalk along the North end of Mission Ave from E St. to B St. The project also included two new accessible curb ramps as well as improvement work surrounding the adjacent driveways.
