Public Works began a new construction project on Tuesday, October 11th. The Mission Ave. sidewalk project is a sidewalk gap closure project that will install a new sidewalk along the North side of Mission Ave. from E St. to C St. and replaces the existing sidewalk from C St. to B St. The City’s contractor, Ghilotti Bros Inc. started excavating and demolition earlier last week. They have been moving along rather quickly, with the new sidewalk from E St. to C St. complete already! The west-bound lane of Mission Ave. closed will be closed every day from 9AM – 5PM. The project is expected to be complete by the end of this month
