The engineering team in Public Works recently welcomed new fixed term Junior Engineer Alysia Reyes and Dean Allison intern Justin Lin.
Alysia came to us after interning for the City of San Jose Department of Transportation for over two years. Her experience in pavement and curb ramp projects will be a great addition to the Capital Improvement group.
Justin Lin will be starting his senior year as a civil engineering student at the University of California Berkeley and is the 2021 Dean Allison intern. He will be assisting all of the public works engineers this summer as he learns about public works projects and takes on tasks ranging from surveying traffic signage and equipment, bridge inspection criteria review, learning accessibility standards, and assisting with permitting inspections.
