With a large number of people riding bikes, protected bike lanes help to make the roads safer for everyone. This particular bike lane exit, located at the railroad tracks on Andersen Dr. just past W. Francisco Blvd, was installed to help cyclists avoid going over the railroad tracks and potentially getting their bikes stuck in the tracks and causing them harm.
