City of San Rafael to Host Seeds of Hope Luncheon with Non-Profit Partners

San Rafael, Calif – The City of San Rafael is hosting a Seeds of Hope Luncheon on Monday, May 20th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the San Rafael Community Center at Albert Park, 618 B Street, San Rafael. This event, held every quarter, brings together over 20 service providers to offer a wide array of support services, food, and a sense of community.

The Seeds of Hope Luncheon is dedicated to connecting individuals, local businesses, and organizations committed to positively impacting the lives of those experiencing homelessness in San Rafael. The event features a catered lunch and allows community members to access essential services.

Service offerings include:

  • Haircuts, massage, and acupuncture
  • Clothing giveaway
  • Marin Humane Society pet services (available from 12-1 PM only)
  • Photo booth
  • Clean Slate Program
  • The Spahr Center: Narcan, syringe access, harm reduction supplies, and STI testing
  • Marin Community Clinics
  • Vi-SPDAT Homelessness Assessments
  • HHS Public Assistance: general relief, Medi-Cal, and CalFresh
  • BHRS Access Team: mental health and substance use services
  • San Rafael Library book giveaway
  • OD Free Marin: Fentanyl Awareness and Narcan
  • Downtown Streets Team
  • Lived Experience Advisory Board
  • Buckelew/Helen Vine Recovery Center
  • Canal Alliance
  • Multicultural Center of Marin
  • Legal Aid / Community Court
