The City’s contractor, Michael Paul Company, will be working at night from approximately 8pm – 5am to repair a storm drain in the left westbound lane on 3rd St in front of the San Rafael High School. Work is start Tuesday 4/22 and is expected to last 1-2 weeks. We currently anticipate work to be contained to one travel lane. The cross walk will be closed will work is happening but will be reopened each day to minimize disruption to the school as long as it is safe to do so. We anticipate the travel lane to remain closed to vehicular traffic for the entire duration of the project, not just during work hours. Staff will send updates if the conditions change.
