Starting November 23rd through November 25th, City Hall and most non-essential City facilities, which include Public Works, will be closed in accordance with the non-public safety Furlough Schedule, which is a cost-saving measure in response to significant COVID-19 related revenue losses the City continues to experience. The 13-day closure schedule, as approved by our City Council, is effective through the end of the fiscal year. Visit our website at www.cityofsanrafael.org/hours for more information and additional closure dates.
Please note, Police and Fire essential services will remain fully operational during all furlough days, and regular Parking Enforcement schedules will remain in effect.
In addition, non-safety City services will be closed on November 26th and November 27th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Due to furlough schedule and holiday, we would advise you to contact the non-emergency police number at (415) 485-3000 for all storm-related emergencies during this time. On November 30th, Public Works will be operational and continue normal functions.
