Open House this Saturday April 23 for the Canal Community Based Transportation Plan!

Posted on April 18, 2022

.

On Saturday April 23, the City and Voces del Canal is hosting an Open House on Alto Street. It will be an opportunity to provide input on transportation challenges and request improvements for getting around and accessing the Canal by bicycle, walking, and transit. We are really interested in the concerns of the residents and business owners in the area and hope to come up with an action plan with short-, medium-, and long-term measures to improve mobility in the area.

Marin Transit will be offering fare free on Marin Transit local buses county-wide on April 23 in observation of Earth Day. All demand response services (paratransit, Catch-A-Ride, Dial-A-Ride, and Connect) and Muir Woods would be exempt from this free fare promotion. For further detail on this fare promotion, please see our Board letter here
