The City Council will also discuss an ordinance setting the Paramedic Services Special Tax. This tax ensures much needed paramedic services in our community and the rate has been held constant since 2011 in San Rafael. After reviewing billing recovery and expenditure trends the Fire Department recommends a $3 annual increase in order to maintain current service levels.
