Parks Division staff have taken advantage of the nice weather to get a head start on landscaping and other maintenance needs. They’ve been busy with the pruning and cleanup of the entrance median in Terra Linda, weed eating in various locations, hedging of shrubs, and pruning of roses bushes. Here you will see Alex Nacaspaca, Jorge Hernandez, Rene Ramos, Valente Curiel and Camilo Bayot making quick work of the job. Parks staff also did some lower lawn restoration at Gerstle Park. In the secondary photo you see Jorge Hernandez and Jose Tellez preparing the ground for new sod. They are re-sodding certain areas in independently to avoid closing the entire field
