Measure A Funds

Overview

Peacock Gap Park is a popular community park in the City. It offers playgrounds, shaded bench areas, two tennis courts, playing field, and walking trails.

The Library and Recreation Department allocated measure A funds to replace the existing play structures and improve accessibility around the park. The City has engaged a consultant to facilitate design, and will later advertise the project to solicit bids from contractors to construct.

Community Input

The City hosted an outreach event on Saturday, June 22nd at Peacock Gap Park to collect feedback on the design of the park. Additionally, a community survey was published online June 15-July 1, 2024 to gather feedback. Hundreds of participants shared their ideas!

You can view the initial design alternatives we asked for feedback on and  the final project documents below.
