Are you ready to lower your carbon footprint and get prepared for emergencies? Join a free Resilient Neighborhoods workshop series to achieve measurable results in five meetings and meet great people who also care about a healthy planet. Have fun calculating your personal carbon footprint, and taking effective, measurable and money-saving actions to reduce it. You’ll get prepared for emergencies and help build a stronger, safer, and healthier community. Over 1,200 Marin residents have already reduced more than 6-million pounds of CO2 pollution through Resilient Neighborhoods. You could be next. All you need to participate is access to your utility bills and a computer. Registration is required. Classes start on Tuesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. at the San Rafael (B Street) Community Center.
