The Streets Division staff has had a very busy schedule heading into the rainy season. Catching up on pothole and road repairs, applying new STOP locations, updating crosswalks as well as other special requests. Here you see Streets Maintenance Supervisor John Shindelus with Streets crew members Kenny Gatlin and Jeremy Quintal installing benches on Robert Dollar Dr. This area has been a hot topic with nearby residents for the last couple months due to all the loitering and litter issues that have been going on there. New benches, a picnic table, additional trash receptacles and signage were installed to help encourage visitors to take better care of the area. Here we also see Street crew members Tyler Nord, Brenden Smith and Trevor Thomas working on the new Stop locations and crosswalk updates as well.
