Streets Division staff made some modifications to the upper parking area on Robert Dollar Dr. The paving crew, which includes Lead worker Kenny Gatlin and Maintenance workers Mike Castaneda Jeremy Quintal, Matt Gaehwiler extended the paved area to accommodate new parallel parking spaces. The paint and signs crew, which includes Lead worker Tyler Nord and Maintenance workers Trevor Thompson, Arturo Tinoco and Brendan Smith painted new T’s and L’s and placed boulders to block the remaining area. The purpose of this is to reduce the number of calls SRPD receives for noise complaints and loitering after dark. The fire road access gate will also be moved closer to the road to limit the illegal parking that occurs in that area.
