City Hall and other offices will be closed to the public from December 23 to January 3, but appointments are available upon request. Public safety and emergency services remain available 24/7.

The City has opened a non-emergency hotline for residents that are having trouble accessing the internet. The hotline will be staffed from 9am to 5pm for the duration of the Public Safety Power Shut Off event. 

Residents are encouraged to call 415-485-5070 for updated information and non-emergency questions specific to San Rafael. 

If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 9-1-1. 

Additionally, for information about outages, road conditions, and other non-emergency inquires, dial 2-1-1. 

As an additional reminder, due to capacity concerns, the City has moved the downtown charging station from City Hall to the San Rafael Community Center (618 B Street)We are also encouraging residents to visit the PG&E Resource Center at the Albert J. Boro Community Center (50 Canal Street) for charging, cooling and water.
