We have some exciting news in the sidewalk repair program! As of July 15th, 2022, Van Midde & Son Concrete has finished all executed agreements. This year alone, Van Midde has repaired the sidewalks of 100 properties. Since 2018, 420 properties have had their sidewalks repaired or replaced through our program, resulting in almost 60,000 square feet of new sidewalk and nearly 5,000 linear feet of new curb and gutter! The City is grateful to Van Midde & Son Concrete for working well with the community & city, meeting their deadline, and honoring their original pricing for the executed contracts. The Public Works Department is proud to say that we have contributed nearly $600,000 toward repairing the City’s sidewalks and we look forward to continuing this work. Our mission is to make our city safer, and we are very grateful to our residents for partnering with us in this cause.
