Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) started regular commuter rail service on August 25, 2017, from the Santa Rosa Airport to the downtown San Rafael Station. Congratulations SMART! On Tuesday evening, the City Council will hear a report from Public Works giving an overview of SMART-related construction projects that have been completed by the City, County, Golden Gate Transit, and SMART.
