After 18 years of service, San Rafael’s City Clerk, Esther Beirne is retiring. At their Tuesday meeting, the City Council will consider appointing an Interim City Clerk to serve on a temporary basis, as well as releasing a call for applications to appoint a permanent City Clerk to serve until the next election in 2020.
