The City of San Rafael will be sending out weekly project updates with construction updates, traffic closure updates, and other relevant information for this project. To receive these updates, please sign up using the form at the left-hand side of the project website.
THIS WEEK (February 21-25): The contractor placed changeable message signs and is currently working with the City on a traffic control plan that will minimize disruptions to the traveling public.
NEXT WEEK (February 28-March 4): Maggiora & Ghilotti will start locating existing underground utilities and identifying potential utility conflicts between Lincoln Avenue and Brooks Street.
On Wednesday March 2nd, Ghilotti Bros. will be drilling for geotechnical data along curb lane of eastbound 2nd Street between East St. and Miramar Ave.
IMPACTS: Traffic Controls (temporary signs, message boards, traffic cones, and delineators) will be put in place to direct motorists through the work area.
Expect lane closures and road work on eastbound Second Street between East Street and Miramar Avenue from 6am and 3pm and westbound on Third Street between Tamalpais Avenue and Brooks Street from 6am to 3pm.
