The City of Rafael along with partner agencies Marin Municipal Water District, and the San Rafael Sanitation District’s Third Street Rehabilitation Project is well under way. The water main replacement west of Highway 101 is almost complete. The retaining wall necessary for the west end bicycle path connection is currently under construction. The City’s contractor Ghilotti Bros., Inc. has completed placing the soldier piles and are currently working on building the panels for the retaining wall.
