Weekend Striping!
On Sunday, September 23, the Department of Public Works will be center striping, or re-painting the center road markings, through Downtown San Rafael. Staff will be using a water-based paint to do the job. It’s environmentally responsible, paint remains flexible and withstands movement, it’s fast drying (10-15 minutes!), and it comes in many colors and sheens.
Here’s the striping schedule:
• 8 to 11 a.m. — Miracle Mile at Ross Valley Dr. to West Street
• 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.—Fourth and Fifth Streets to E Street
This is a great opportunity to see a massive paint truck in action during this operation! So, if you’rearound town and see the guys don’t be afraid to say “hi!”
