One of the benefits of having mobile column lifts is that they offer maneuverability and can be easily moved. They are very user friendly and allows workers unrestricted views of the underside of vehicles. In the photo below, Garage Technician II Angel Lopez is shown getting ready to replace a faulty automatic transmission from one of our Parks Department utility trucks using our newly purchased mobile column lifts. Each column lift has a rated lifting capacity of 18,500lbs, and when using four of them it will lift all our heavy-duty trucks that are in our fleet. The vehicle maintenance staff does a great job of keeping on top of these necessary inspections and repairs to ensure City vehicles remain safe and in compliance.
