Wildfire Prevention Direct Assistance Request Form
Thanks to Measure C, we are able to work with our partnering organizations to directly help low-income, elderly, and disabled homeowners reduce the wildfire risk around their home as well as other wildfire mitigation work. These partnerships will help create a more resilient and fire-safe San Rafael.
To request assistance with the removal of Juniper, Italian cypress, bamboo, acacia, or similar defensible space vegetation removal work, please complete the waiver of liability form linked below:

This service is available at no charge to Residents thanks to Measure C, the Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority, and other partnering organizations.
Completed forms can be returned to Fire Administration at 1375 Fifth Ave, San Rafael 94901 or via email to srfd.dspace@cityofsanrafael.org
While we will try to help as many San Rafael residents as possible, this service is not guaranteed. This service does not include stump removal or replanting but, will help residents remove the wildfire risks associated fire-hazardous vegetation.
How to Request Assistance
- Please fill out the Direct Assistance Waiver of Liability Form.
