City Hall and other offices will be closed to the public from December 23 to January 3, but appointments are available upon request. Public safety and emergency services remain available 24/7.

Work to keep the City clean & safe

Posted on January 8, 2021

Along with assisting the Streets Division with storm preparation, the Parks Division continues with regular maintenance throughout the City. Here we see Parks Division Mechanic Jim O’Hagan painting over graffiti on a wall along the Puerto Suello bike path. Any type of derogatory or gang related graffiti is removed immediately as graffiti in this area tends to be an ongoing issue that DPW strives to combat.

In order to ensure safety for the public during the pandemic, our Parks Division staff work diligently to make sure that public restroom facilities around the City are cleaned and sanitized. Parks Division Maintenance workers Valente Curiel and Custodian Anthony Moreno, who is from the Library and Recreation Division, are seen here cleaning one of the many public bathroom facilities in the City
